A Lovely Sunday
I attended OCIA today and learned about the liturgical calendar. There's more to it than I really realized. Christmas isn't just one day. There are so many celebrations of different biblical things and saints in the Catholic Church that you have some special observance rather regularly. I feel a little overwhelmed and yet happy. Sometimes … Continue reading A Lovely Sunday
Creativity, Knee
Today we took my brace off to adjust it, and my kneecap started to slide out of place. It was painful. Now I'm thinking it will be a few more days before I can manage without it. I'll go to the orthopedic dr on Monday. My family has been pushing me around in the wheelchair. … Continue reading Creativity, Knee

It's a sunny, happy Saturday. This week has been busy. I went to a mom group meeting with my neighbor. There were some really nice … Continue reading Long Week

But as I read Catholic theologians and writers, it's making more sense. I have a new doctor to go to, and the office provides transportation when you need … Continue reading Life Updates

I love my daily use dishes. They have cute hearts on them. They're very quaint. But I also have more formal, also very feminine china that has been in a box since I got it. Time to change that. I've always saved the china for entertaining or special occasions. But why should other people get the … Continue reading Using the Good China for My Family
Work in Progress
We have gotten so much done around the house. We've probably unpacked 200 boxes in the past 4 days. My husband has been amazing. He works so quickly, and he's so patient and helpful. And our daughter has been a terrific little helper. I'm proud of her. I can't sing their praises enough. A had … Continue reading Work in Progress
Art Room in Progress
My daughter and I are working on the art studio together. She puts everything in rainbow order, which I love. We have a beautiful light set to put on the wall, and I can't wait to get it set up. She's a wonderful designer and comes up with so many organizational ideas.
