I got up at 5 to drive to another city to drop the car off for shipping. It didn’t take that long to get there, but driving on the highway makes me nervous, and if I’d left at the appropriate time, I would have hit traffic. So I left while it was dark. Since I was early, I had to wait around a couple of hours for the place to open, so I grabbed breakfast and ran the car through the carwash. Then C picked me up, and we ran errands and went on a lunch date. It was a lovely day! We even got to take a nap!
This week the moving truck comes. This weekend, we say goodbye to L, our exchange student. That’s going to be hard. We will all miss her so much. She’s family.
Tomorrow my parents are coming to visit for a few hours. It will be my last time visiting with them here for two years.
