Some of my views may be changing. I’m learning about the Catholic Church and the roots of Christianity, and soon this may not be a fundamentalist/evangelical page. It may be more….trad cath. Submission still matters, but my views on some other issues are beginning to change. I don’t feel entirely comfortable with that at this point, but I’m getting there. If I am going to be a Catholic I want to be a good one. The Catholic Church, which I’m finding in my research was the early church, is different than the Protestant sphere I have inhabited.
C and I will be getting our marriage convalidated. I’m not sure when but it will have to be before Easter. I can’t take Communion until we do, and I need to be able to take Communion with the church for the first time (for real) at the Easter Vigil when I will be confirmed. C doesn’t love the idea but is willing to do it to make me happy.
I can’t say yet exactly how the message or aesthetic of the page might change. But things are developing behind the scenes.
