Adoration, Stay at Home University Check In

This morning I attended OCIA and we discussed the order of and meaning of the Mass. I really want to attend Adoration with my Bible journaling supplies and study and worship in tbe physical, the Real Presence, of Jesus. I will be going to at least one weekday Mass this week. Maybe I can do Adoration before or after.

I came home not feeling well (I left the house feeling fatigued and low) but I made my husband lunch for the week. For dinner I can relax. We got Pizza Hut.

This week I will be reading more of the Catechism and studying natural law and other moral law for OCIA on Sunday.

I’m reading my 4th book on horror writing, and I am enjoying a winter collection of horror stories. Soon I will graduate from this topic and move on to another subject. I haven’t decided what to learn next. I may continue to read horror since I love it so much, and deepen my study. But I will add a new topic of study to keep things fresh.

I have not yet written my chapbook on the color pink. I’m still researching and gathering inspiration. For the scrapbooking, I’ve ordered a label maker and I’ve been  printing instax photos and sorting paper.

Everyone online is talking about personal curricula, but I have been writing about doing stay at home university since I got married over a decade ago. So to me, it is nothing new. I still enjoy the videos for inspiration though, and sometimes I find new free resources for research. I plan to get on JSTOR to read some articles.

I still feel exhausted, so I will be pacing myself. Housework comes first.
