My birthday was earlier this week! C made it special by cooking his delicious stuffed shells for me and getting ice cream. He also got me a gift I’m super excited about, but it will take a couple of more weeks to get here. A microscope! And petri dishes! I can’t wait to get photos of bacteria and upclose shots of rocks and so many other things! I’m going to cough in a petri dish and see what grows! Maybe that’s weird, but I’m thrilled!
Today A is off from school for Thanksgiving break. It’s nice to have her home. On Thanksgiving, my husband will cook. I do the normal cooking, but he cooks on holidays because he enjoys it. His food is scrumptious!
I have been attending OCIA, and so far find the Catholic argument to be convincing. I still can’t bring myself to talk to Mary or the saints, but I attended a weekday Mass last week and loved it. I enjoy doing my homework for class. Our priest is always open to questions. My classmates (there are only 2) are both nice. Next class I am bringing my rosaries in to be blessed. I still can’t pray the rosary, but for some reason I have always felt drawn to them!
Today I hung out with my mom over Facetime and we both got creative. See what I made below. Art is so therapeutic!
