In the next 2 weeks, I begin RCIA classes to become Catholic. I’m excited! I still have some reservations, particularly with praying to Mary and the Saints. But as I read Catholic theologians and writers, it’s making more sense.
I have a new doctor to go to, and the office provides transportation when you need it. I feel so lucky.
Today we visited the Christian bookstore on the island. It’s spectacular! We got A books about missionaries and theologians, as well as the Bible Recap for Kids, a scripture coloring book, and some other nice things. C got a map of the island from 50 years ago and some books. I got three studies on Revelation, a study on Johns 1,2, and 3, a couple of devotionals, and some other things. There was a nice selection! They have beautiful journals, too. I want one some day. They’ve got art supplies and gifts too. A bought me the sweetest little music box.
I’m studying Job and Revelation. Job is teaching me to draw closer to God in times of suffering. The past week has been a lot of suffering. My brain is not working right. Revelation is just fascinating. Learning the future is amazing.
