My inlaws arrived for the weekend last night. We went out to a Greek/Italian restaurant. Then today we took the girls to the mall. L got to use her birthday gift certificate at Sephora. Then we went to Target. After that, we grabbed crepes for lunch.
Tomorrow is church, and then the girls will go with my inlaws to the Minecraft movie. I surprised A with minecraft coins earlier this week. Her screen time is limited, but she has games and even makes animation videos. I’m immensely proud of her. She’s trying to grow her small channel, and she’s being so creative.
I had a hard day on Friday. I was supposed to start a new writing project. I did write a poem, but that was it. Now I want to pick it up again on Monday when my inlaws leave. I will either serialize it on my blog or publish it on Amazon.
Here are a couple of science books I just bought. The photography in each is fantastic. There’s great information in both, and both octopi and viruses fascinate me. I love learning for a fraction of the cost of a degree, and I love that doing so gives me the ability to both broaden and narrow the scope of my education.
