I have finally done a couple of simple Bible journaling pages with highlighter, gel pen, watercolor, and pictures of flowers. I covered a page about blood sacrifice in red.
I started in Deuteronomy because it isn’t exactly my favorite book of the Bible, so I’m less worried about messing up. I also think it might help me appreciate it more, and it already has.
I wrote some thoughts I had reading the scripture. Nothing groundbreaking on these pages. Just thoughts. Starting with passages on blood sacrifice and sexual immorality is perhaps not what some would consider the most inspiring fare. But these passages, like all God breathed scripture, are important and deserve to be treated with reverence.
These are not the most gorgeous Bible journaling pages in the world. But the colors are lovely, my heart was in it, and best of all, I spent time with the Lord
These verses are about witchcraft, sexual immorality, and abortion. Rough subjects, but important.
