This week is full of good news and we are barely halway through it. I got to see my parents. We hadn’t seen each other in 6 (almost 7) years. To say it was amazing is the understatement of the century. Hugging my mom and dad felt so good, and they got to see my daughter. My heart feels light. Life just changed for the better.
A much smaller piece of news is that one of my artworks has been accepted to a magazine. I look forward to seeing it published. I have had my poems in magazines before, but not my art. I only recently began submitting it. The digital art journaling page above is not the one going in the magazine. That one looks dramatically different.
My parents are coming to visit again this weekend and I’m so excited. Life is good.
