Regular articles will be back soon. Today’s life update is that we took an interesting tour of the Pentagon. Then I got fillings at the dentist. My inlaws seem to be enjoying themselves. Church will be virtual tomorrow because of the snow.
I went to the Pentagon in my wheelchair because there’s no way I could do that much walking on my ankle. But honestly, as tired as I felt, I was more grateful than embarrassed to be in the wheelchair.
It was a successful day overall. I enjoy seeing my inlaws. I am trying to give myself grace and patience for the depression and malaise and memory issues. Today I wrote a scrap of micro fiction I like. I just want to make sure the images are vivid enough. It’s surreal/magical realism/horror. Tonight I hope to write some poetry and do a little reading. I’m already tired though so we’ll see.
