Church, Snow

We were supposed to be welcomed as members into our church today, but I vomited on the way. We were maybe 10 minutes from church when I started spewing and eventually couldn’t swallow it down. I feel so bad. They were prepared to welcome us. Since then I have been resting. My dear husband made a vegetarian beef carbonara pasta for lunch. I didn’t eat much of it.

Tomorrow, the girls were supposed to return to school, but a snowstorm is coming in tonight, and school has been canceled. I hope to get some boxes for them to sled tomorrow. They’re both excited for the snow. I am, too. It will be pretty. Honestly, I’d rather have a warm day, but if it must be this cold, I would like it to snow.

Last night, we moved the downstairs space heater to the master bedroom. It was so nice not to shiver. We have an electric blanket, and that helps, but that bedroom is just so cold. I kind of think being cold all the time is affecting me mentally.

Saturday we had lunch with our pastor’s family. They’re so kind! And they had two huge goldfish that were fun to watch. I love fish and aquariums. But getting to know the pastor and his wife better was wonderful. Now I want to invite the pastor’s wife over to my home.

Tomorrow I dive into using my planner and catching up with housework! I need to clean! I tend to let myself have a break when my family does, but it’s time to get back to the grind.
