Today A had a birthday party to go to. We drove her 40 minutes there, and then C and I went out to lunch just the two of us. Our sweet exchange student L had chosen to stay home, so C and I got to go on a date.
When we got home, C went to a friend’s place to help him move in and build his furniture. I took the girls to Barnes and Noble. A bought a couple of books with her money she earned from good grades. She also bought me a Tamogotchi for Christmas. I kind of collect them. Raising Tamogotchis is rather relaxing. She got C a history book. I bought each of the girls a book, and I might have gone a little crazy in the magazine section. I adore magazines. I put some back, but I kept a bunch.
I got magazines about science, literature, writing, art, and crafts. I have so much reading to do! Reading makes me so happy. I’m enjoying a magazine now while we watch Netflix as a family.
