Today the girls had school but my husband didn’t have work, so he and I spent the day together. We took a lovely two hour drive and went to a Mexican restaurant I love. We chatted nonstop for 6 hours. It was glorious! We talked a lot about the future and upcoming changes for the family. Big changes are likeky coming in 2025.
Spending time with my husband is my favorite thing in the world. I love him more than poetry and art combined. I strive to be a daughter of Sarah. I reverence my husband, and though I do not refer to him that way, I treat him as my earthly lord just as Sarah called Abraham lord. We don’t always get much time together because he works long hours. But when we get to be together there are fireworks every time. We have been married for 12 years and we are just as in love as we were the day we got married.
