Submitting to your husband isn’t always easy, but living the way God designed brings blessings. Although my husband and I have a lot in common, we still do not agree on everything. There have been calls he made that I did not think were best. But in these situations, blessings have always come from following my husband. For instance, he once wanted to move when we had just built a new house. I would miss the house, and we would lose money selling it.
I’m so glad I submitted! I met someone who is now a close friend, got amazing travel opportunities, lived in the most beautiful place I’d ever been, and above all, my husband’s career benefitted. Things worked out so well. My wise husband was right. Our family benefitted from me obeying my husband.
Sometimes, the blessings don’t appear right away. But they will be there.
