Meet Addie.

I don’t know why, but this morning I suddenly got the urge to adopt a fish. I haven’t had a fish in years. So my daughter and I went to Petsmart and she helped me pick out supplies. I wanted a tank with colored lights, but bought the white light one because it was on sale.

Then it was time to pick a fish. There were different price tiers indicated by a colored stripe on the cup. The most expensive bettas were twenty dollars! Those were the ones with pretty colors and patterns and fancy fins. I had thought I would choose a red male. But then I met cute little Addie. She’s my first female betta. She is super tiny and dark blue. She has a big personality, especially for something so small. Welcome to the family, Addie!
