A had a cooking class today, followed by a sleepover. She won’t come home until tomorrow night after her next cooking class. I miss her, but today C and I got to go out on a date. It has been nice having it be just the two of us for the evening. Tomorrow C goes back to work, so it will be just me and the dogs all day. With C and A gone I will be lonely, and the house will be quiet, but the dogs and I will have a nice day. I have housework to do, as well as an art lesson in the morning. Then my to-be-read pile is rather long.
Life is good. I look forward to making lasagna tomorrow and baking cookies as well. I want to clean the house, read, and write. Ideally, I’d like to journal. Here is the Lego build C got for Father’s Day. It took him most of the day yesterday to build.
