Today my husband took our family to a historic battlefield. I got photos on both of the film cameras I brought. I can’t wait to see how the color flash comes out in one and the special effects of psychedelic blues film in the other. Film makes me happy. I ordered more today for my instant camera and just regular film. Soon I plan to buy 35 mm that expired in the 70s.
I found a local film developer, which makes me happy. I will be going this week. Film gets me excited! I am considering learning to develop film myself, but I don’t know if I have a room in my house dark enough, and I don’t know how hard it is to do.
Tomorrow is Father’s Day. I can’t wait to see my husband’s face when he opens his gift!
I’ve begun going through my books and getting rid of any that don’t spark joy. Yes, the Marie Kondo thing. So far, I’ve decided to get rid of 4, but I’m just getting started.
