I can almost run my vacuum! The upstairs is mostly off the floor. We have unpacked so much, and this past weekend we had help. It was wonderful! Today I have a ton of laundry to do. The machines I have at this house play a cute little tune when the load is done. That little chirped song makes me happy.
Yesterday I took two art lessons! They were just introductory meetings, but one teaches advanced embroidery and the other teaches mixed media. I am excited to get started next week! I am trying to build a life in this new place. Hopefully I can learn some new techniques and get challenged with more inspiration. I make some sort of art or write poems every day, so it’s not like I’m short on inspiration. But I’m not a professional and I have a lot to learn.
The remainder of our belongings are due to arrive today. Right now I’m waiting to hear from the driver. Better yet, my daughter and my dogs are arriving tonight. I haven’t seen them in 3 weeks. My inlaws were wonderful to take them all for a visit so Craig and I could settle in, but of course I have missed my baby and my fuzzy friends every day.
