Art Journal Pages

I do digital art journaling to help with my mood, and to release the constant stream of creativity flowing through my brain. I need many outlets.

Digital art journaling

This piece, which features a layer of pastel painting combined with scrapbooking paper and text, reflects on my happiness with my life at home. Some people would say I am sheltered. They would be right. I wanted to take shelter, and my husband provided it. Being able to stay home makes me feel secure.

This is a pastel painting blended with text and three layers of scrapbook pages. I could just collect millions of pages of digital scrapbook paper. I love them so much.

The piece above is about loving the Floridian Winter and Fall, but missing real seasons.

I love how life at home allows me to be creative.

Submissive art

The collage above is pretty simple (I took the rainbow photos of the oil pastels). It isn’t nearly my best. But somehow, it satisfies me. I am beginning to express my submission to God and my husband through art. Getting good will be a slow process. But the wet cherries represent desire.

I am so grateful to my husband for letting me stay home and be creative. Home nourishes me.
