It has been a relaxing weekend at home. I came across Married at First Sight Australia, and I have been binging that.
I got some beautiful new journals for my journal collection! They came from Books a Million. One is orange and embroidered! I love orange things! I love embroidered things! It’s perfect for me. I got a beautiful shiny one with Victorian illustrations on it, another journal where you can circle the month, date, and day, and more. My husband spoils me. I’m so lucky.
I started filling out a special, fuzzy journal I have with a new project. I am studying some of the hundreds of online exhibits on Google Arts and Culture, and take notes on what I learn. Note taking can help anyone learn and remember, but when you have fried your brain with seizures you have an even greater need for taking good notes. Google Arts and Culture is introducing me to movements, artists, and media I didn’t know before.
I’m going to be trying some new recipes this week. I’m looking forward to it. It feels good to present my husband with a hot meal when he comes home from work. Trying something new could give him a new favorite dish.
My diet is going well! I lost 4 more pounds! Sticking with it requires a mindset shift. I need to see myself thin. If I focus on things that give me stimulation and emotional release, I will spend my time being productive and not munching. To get thin, I need to believe I can. Envisioning success inspires me.
Here are some simple digital scrapbooking pages I made!
