My schedule is sometimes wide open during the day, which I love. I can do what I need to when I’m ready, and do what I want when I feel up to it. However, because of depression this sometimes means I don’t get as much done as I could. Sometimes having a forcing function to get you going is a good thing.
Enter my husband’s suggestion of scheduling. He brought home a couple of weeks worth of schedules from his job as an example. I decided it was worth trying, so I began looking for free scheduling apps. I found one that was alright, but nothing I truly loved.
So I decided to order an Erin Condren planner. I ordered the vertical layout that allows you to use a lot of stickers. What I plan to do is alternate between scheduling my days, versus recording my days and trying to make sure I fill my daily blocks. I want to see which method will lead to a greater combination of productivity and creativity. I suspect it will be the latter.
I’ve ordered tons of pretty planner stickers, some of which have arrived. When my planner gets here, I will set up pretty layouts and then photograph them and share them here. I love a pretty planner layout! Sadly, one of my favorite sticker makers is no longer in business, so I’m having to find other vendors.
I can’t wait to share my planning journey with you!
