Today we adopted Aurora from a wonderfully kind, retired Navy lady. She took Aurora in and named her when her neighbor died and his kids threw his dog out on the street. She found her sad and scared and pregnant. Aurora had 11 puppies and took care of them. The lady made a post in a group for giving dogs away for free. Most of the puppies were adopted immediately, but no one adopted the mom. Aurora had an appointment to be turned in to the pound on the 5th.
Luckily we got her. She’s such a sweet dog. Aurora is very nervous, but sweet. We brought Narra along to make sure they got along, and thankfully (because we have tried this before and it didn’t work) they liked each other.
