I normally hate to put out any weight loss goals because it feels like if you put your goals out there you’re more likely to fail, and then of course everyone knows you tried to lose weight and failed. But what I’ve come to realize is that maybe it could work the other way. It could be an inspiration to keep going. I’m not trying to lose a lot of weight. Only a little bit.. About 30 pounds.
I am using slim fast to help me lose weight. Losing weight when you have physical issues can be very difficult. I have health problems that lead to weight gain, I’m on medication that causes weight gain, and I have a damaged ankle that prevents me from running or from walking very far. I used to love going on long walks so that was a tremendous loss to me. But I’m on track with a wonderful counselor through Military One Source and I think this time I can do it.
I am committed to having a Slim Fast for either breakfast or lunch or both each day 5 days a week. It’s a little hard to do when my husband is home because we like to eat lunch as a family, but while he’s at work I’m going to have Slim Fast and stick to it. Plus I like all the vitamins and minerals in it. I feel like I don’t get enough of those. If you want to be accountability partners please reach out to me. We can do this.
