This is our new beach! Tonight we are staying at the Navy Lodge and tomorrow we get the keys to our house, which is right by the beach. I can walk to the beach everyday, and hear the sound of crashing waves from my screened in porch.
Navy life can be hard, but sometimes you end up somewhere lovely. Jacksonville is a lovely town from what I’ve seen of it so far. Spanish moss drips from all the trees. There’s water everywhere. It’s all serene.
